VITEEE 2021

VITEEE 2021: VIT University conducts a national level engineering entrance exam called the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) for admission to various UG programs across its campuses. Admission to 20 B. Tech programs offered at VIT Campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, and Bhopal will be provided through VITEEE 2021. Around 2 lacks of candidates appear for VITEEE and compete against 5000 admission seats. VITEEE is a computer-based examination held across the country.

Availability of the Application Form 1st week of November 2020

Admit Card will be available from 3rd week of March 2021

 Announcement of Result 4th week of April 2021
Dates for Counselling 2nd & 3rd week of May 2021

Eligibility Criteria

  • PIO and OCI holders are also eligible to apply.
  • NRI candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Foreign Candidates studied/studying in abroad can apply directly through foreign category only
  • 12th class passed with 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology (50% for the SC/ST & North Eastern State candidates) will be the required qualification to apply for VITEEE 2021.
  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply.

VITEEE 2021 Application Fee

  • The Offline Application Fee will be INR 1200
  • The Online Application Fee will be INR 1150
  • The application fee for NRI candidates will be US$ 50
  • NRI applicants and candidates applying through the offline mode of the application need to send the hard copy along with the NEFT Transfer copy/Demand Draft.

VITEEE 2021

Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • Total of 125 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and will be set in English language only.
  • The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted and there is no provision for negative marking.
