To select eligible candidates to various reputed post in Government departments/ministries, SSC organizes a number of exams every year. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release notification for SSC GD Constable 2021 to recruit various eligible candidates for various posts (given below). SSC will conduct an open examination for recruitment posts of Constable (General Duty). SSC will release a various number of vacancies for the recruitment of constables through SSC GD Constable 2021. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board to be eligible for SSC GD Constable 2021.
- A Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years.
- Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.

Application Fee
- A candidate is required to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying any application fee.
Selection Procedure
SSC GD 2018 Exam will be conducted in three main steps:
- Written examination (Computer Based)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
Exam Pattern
- The test will be objective type test constituting of 4 sections.
- 25 questions are to be asked each carrying 1 marks when a question is attempted wrong.
- The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
