PSTET 2022: Punjab School Education Board conducts the Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) for teacher recruitment for Primary & Upper Primary government schools in the Punjab state. The Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted under the supervision of the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab. An interested candidate must fill the PSTET application form through the online mode before the last date. After the entrance exam, selected candidates will be allowed to take up classes from standard first to standard eighth. Eligibility Criteria
- For Primary Teachers: To apply for PSTET candidates must have a qualified diploma/degree in the relevant field. In addition, applying applicants passed the 12th with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
- For Upper Primary Teachers: Applying applicants those are having a B.Ed degree with graduation in the relevant field they can apply for PSTET Upper Primary Teachers.
PSTET 2022 Application Form
Candidate must open the official site at – www.tetpunjab.com to fill the application form. Now applicant must find the link and click on the link to Apply Online. They must fill all the required details in the given application form. Pay the application fee in online mode. After that applicant will be able to fill the Application Form using that information. Candidate must be filled the application form with the correct information, as no mistakes will be accepted. To complete the application process the applicants need to upload a few documents along with the form and application fee. As per the requirement applicants also have to upload few documents such as the scanned passport size photo, Signature, and some educational documents. Before the final submission applicant must recheck the application form, take a printout of the filled form, and keep it with you for further use.
Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs.600/ fee for General / OBC.
- The application fee is Rs.300/- fee for SC/ST.
Exam Pattern
- In the Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test, there will be two papers.
- Candidates have only 2 hours and 30 minutes duration for each paper.

- Child Development Pedagogy: Child Development (Primary School Children): Concept of Inclusive Education and Learning Pedagogy, Understanding Children with special needs
- Mathematics: Geometry, Arithmetic, Numbers, Algebra, Mensuration, Shapes, and Spatial Understanding
- Language I (Punjabi): Concept for language development and Comprehension based questions
- Language II (English): Development of language and comprehension based question in English
- Social Studies/ Social Sciences: Geography, Social, History, and Political Life, etc.
- Environmental Studies: Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar System, Water, Air, Parts of Body, Food Resource and Care, Our Surroundings.
