Bihar Polytechnic 2020: BCECEB (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) conducts an examination for admission to polytechnic colleges within Bihar. It is commonly known as Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE ) for admitting students to Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Para Medical (PM Intermediate Level), Part-time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE), Para-Medical-Dental (PMD Matric Level) Courses. Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria:
- PE: No upper and lower age limit.
- PPE: Lower Age Limit is 19 Years (as on 1 July 2020)
- PM: Age should be between 17 to 32 Years (as on 31 Dec 2020)
- PMD: Age should be between 15 to 30 Years (as on 31 Dec 2020)
Educational Qualification:
- PE: Class X or equivalent from a recognized Board / University with at least 35% marks. Appearing candidates are also eligible.
- PPE: Class X or equivalent along with 2 Years ITI (2 Years experience along with Class X). Appearing candidates are also eligible.
- PM: For Diploma in Pharmacy: 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics / Biology. Appearing candidates are also eligible. For GNM course: 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with at least 40% marks. Appearing candidates are also eligible.
- PMD: Class X or equivalent from recognized Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Appearing candidates are also eligible.

- For 1 program: Rs. 550 (Rs. 330 for SC / ST)
- For 2 programs: Rs. 660 (Rs. 385 for SC / ST)

- For 4 programs: Rs. 880 (Rs. 500 for SC / ST)
- The application fee can be paid through online mode (Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card).
- The application fee can also be paid through offline mode (E-Challan).
Exam Pattern
- Exam Mode: CECE is the paper-based test (PBT).
- Number of Questions: There will be total 90 questions in the exam.
- Type of Questions: The question paper is based only on objective type questions.
- Exam Duration: The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes.
- Marking Scheme: Candidate will get 5 marks for each correct answer.

Admit Card
- Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of BCECE.
- The Admit Card of Bihar Polytechnic will available probably in the month of April 2020.
- It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination center.
- Candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.
Result
- The result of Bihar Polytechnic 2020 will announce in online mode through the official website.
- Merit list will be published subject-wise on the official portal, after the announcement of result.
Counselling
- Candidates will need to appear in the counselling process organized by the authority.
- To attend the counselling, applicants can download their call letters from the official website.
- The details will be available on -the counselling letter regarding counseling date, time and venue etc.
- Candidates should attend the counseling in person along with relevant documents as per specified date and time.
